Lost in the coridoors of darkness
In love with the lifeless arms of night
You walk this lonely road, soledad
In search of that final hope of light..
Going down the winding way of life
Betrayed by sunlight of this brand new day
You travel the forsaken path, soledad
Looking for some escape ,far away..
Climbing the stairs of endless sorrow
Naked eyes behold the scene of doom
You are all alone in this unknown race, soledad
Deserted and broken in a deserted gloom..
The silence falls ever so loud upon your soul
There are no clouds to rain down on this blue
You will forever remain soledad, soledad
Now that the long walls are closing in on you..

You captivate me with the type of poetry I have been penning myself here and there. I hear your whispers saying an unknown prayer.. Seeking the pathway of your lovely heartbeat. May you sing your song in tune with the angels. Thanks for sharing you. Good write!

Dolly, sorry I took so long... I must say that your poetry has improved so much... each and every stanza is incredibly written ... I liked the concept of corridor to start with and concluding with the long walls closing in... it has hurled spine chilling sensation
... and fitting scary background
