There was an angel
that once said
hello to me
and flashed grey wings
and green eyes-
Soft laughter like
rain,fell into
my soul and made
me whole-
I chased after,
seeking the wholeness
that she gave me,
never knowing the
sadness that overwhelmed
her,not caring
when I touched it
only wanting
to make
her smile-
Wishing I could be
all that she needed,
hoping my love was
enough,waiting
to know
and scared beyond
the telling
to find
out-
