Another Universe, Another World

A field is a quantity at each point in space.
Carrying a force to another place.

The value of the field changing continuously.
Like an evolution of time in relativity.

As gravity and matter move about.
Space and time evolve without a doubt.

Waves traveling through the universal scape.
Down into black holes with their spinning dark mouths agape.

Energy being flung about in a whirl.
Out into another universe, another world.

space is interesting to explore. fascinating dark space.
but you need a lantern to see dark places. I use your poems Lantern to see close to the black holes, waves, fields. And feel like touch them when I read your poems.

Very well written, spirit friend, thank you for sharing

Thanks, Jeet. I hadn't thought of my poems as a lantern before. That's a pretty cool comparison. I've always thought of my poems as exploring the unknown. And, then learning about the different cosmic aspects to the universe makes the mysteries of life even more intriguing.

Thanks, Amera. Yeah, I try my best to make science fun. I remember back in high school when I took science and biology, I didn't find the atom, the electrons and protons all that exciting, it was only when I started reading up on quantum physics myself that I saw how interesting a field it is. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks, Charley. Yeah, it's amazing to think of the mysteries that still lay out there in the universe undiscovered. I sometimes wonder what scientists will find out about the universe in the next forty or fifty years or so. I think science is going to make some amazing discoveries in the future, though it might take awhile yet. Thanks for the comment and the wish of luck.

Aw, sorry. Since 2006. I looked back into my poem history just now and realized I got the year wrong. Silly me.

Thanks. I've been writing this style since 2005 and am always experimenting with poetry looking to see what other new styles I can come up with. This was in my opinion, a little less philosophical than my usual writes. Glad you liked it, though. And, yes truth is what people find. Eventually if you search long enough, truth may be staring a person in the face. I appreciate the comment and thanks for making this contest. It was right up my alley.

Thanks, Buddy. Scientific American sounds like an interesting magazine. I wonder if those get imported into Canada. I do try to read Night Sky magazine though when I get a chance. I appreciate the comment.
