Out side of my box
is the rushing of people
hither thither
and the roar
of subway trains
and
hatred
but
inside....
there are blankets
tattered but warm
and
a picture
of someone I once loved
this box
though cardboard
is my home
outside
there is loneliness
but
inside...
there is me.
