in my dreams

when i wake
and find myself
all alone
you left me,
in the early
morning light
after a silent
peaceful night
i watched as
you walk away
i watched
as you walked
onto that bus
as i watched
the bus pull away
i saw you
looking back at me
i saw the tears
there upon your check
i saw your hand
there upon the glass
i know you did not
want to leave me
i know you did not
want to go to war
i knew when
i first met you
that you would
eventually
leave me like this
but i did not know
it would hurt
this much
you took my heart
and my soul away
i grieve
i can not
help but cry
i need your arms
to comfort me
i need your smile
to reasure me
i need your laughter
to keep me sane
i need your love
to build me up
i love the strength
i find in you
i hope this war
does not take it
away from you

    I felt that this was a little repetitive, and more like a journal entry than a poem HOWEVER

    Many readers will know what you are talking about, will feel what you felt, and that's an important connection to have

    This is.... amazing... those lines.... my GOD! YOU'VE MADE ME CRY!.... This hun, I know hpw you feel seeing someone you feel bond to go to war.. the guy I like and am friend to wants to be in that... this is really good.. only in tihs line;
