    I do love this poem and am very glad you decided to post it! As I passed the gas stations where I live, our lowest price for gas is now $1.97 per gallon. Just a couple months ago I was paying over $4.00 and now I can't believe I'm seeing it under two dollars! I do feel as though our country was led into this war under false pretenses. So few words truly can say so much! This poem certainly deserves the silvery trophy it was awarded! Thanks for sharing!

    Wow, three words really can say a lot. I also don't think that Iraq was all about the oil, but I can see the point in your poem. Very profound. Maybe if politicians spoke in such straightforward terms, the world would make a lot more sense.

    Climax has spoken...

    1. I don't know about you all but I know about me. I don't really think that the war on Iraq is just about the oil.

    2. Were there really SCUD launchers in Iraq?..

    3. Do any of you have any ideal of the power a single SCUD missile has (I do).

    4. Did Iraq really have SCUD launchers but decided to destroy them or transport them to another place in the world so they won't be found?

    5. Have any of you out there ever noticed that the U.S. has the ability and power to make the ENTIRE world Americans if they really wanted too? Simply because of the fact that they hold the most advanced technology and MAYBE even alien technology?

    6. If you are going to reply to my comment... THINK before you type because I have no time what-so-ever for someone that wishes to counter my comment with something they don't even know what they are talking about.

    7. Thank you... But I so disagree with you and your thoughts about the war on Iraq only being about the so called "Black Gold".

      Ty for your comment. I do not believe that there were SCUD launchers in Iraq. This 'threat' was probably dreamt up as an excuse to invade. The only logical reason to attack, as far as some commentators are concerned, was to eventually secure oil resourses.
      America is not the only superpower these days, and although technologically advanced, would never have the power to make 'the entire world American' The country is heading towards recession, with the dollar having been very weak for quite some time.
      As for alien technology, the lack of any evidence for this, and weak conspiracy theories about cover ups hardly compel me to believe this.

        I for sometimes wish the world was under on rule and not so many. Like a universal rule meaning as in everyone is from the same place and not judged based on their country... For exsample... Instead of saying; "I am American", and others saying "I am from Russia" (or any other place)... It would be better just saying;

        "I am from planet Earth... What planet (instead of country) you're from?!"

        Get my point? Good!

        I think your work easily could of won a gold. But one can't get everything. Excellent work overall amigo!

        Stay cool and Rock-N-Rule!

    What more can be said my friend? Indeed, the price to gain the black liquid is the red liquid of human beings. Men, women, children, families, destroyed. This has stung me to the core. You have done very very well with this.
    Stunning piece in fact.
