Dear Friend
Watching as you walked away
Your silence, cold as stone
Brothers once, you and I
But now you stand alone
A soul in pain, your mind is lost
The blackest life to live
When the anger of a second
Takes a lifetime to forgive
In time your wounds will come to heal
And raise you from this hell
So my friend until that day
I raise my hand and wish you well
Author notes
