• Citizens of every country
Have a nationality
Wherever they go and be
An identification card they carry
• Some have more than one
Still few have none
But to which are devoted more
The place where you’re born furthermore
• But one citizenship is far above all
Stands proud and soaring tall
The citizenship that we gain
Where heavenly nationality we attain
• Property of heaven we become
This citizenship will never be outdone
Nor Satan will be able to quench us back
For we will be garrisoned against his attack
• By this nationality Christ will know
For us He will bring no woe
Rather on judgment day
To our Homeland Heaven he will take us away
• Property of heaven we are
Each of us worthy as a star
And in this world’s soot
We will be saved by words of truth
