akasha runes written on the sands are seldom viewed.
Knowledge of the universe inscribed in dancing light
lie tantalizingly close to us but kept from our sight.
Revealed in meaning only to the mammals of the deep,
stories of creation, tales to make one weep.
Not for human understanding, we turned away eons before
denying our primeval roots as we crawled up on the shore.
Forgotten wisdom left behind in our need to roam.
Patiently, it lies there awaiting our return to home.
Author notes
Only two "dictionary words" (LOL)
apocrypha : secret, hidden, of unknown orgin
akasha : ethereal
The ocean was the womb of all life and the record of all time is imbued in its
atoms… As of 2008, less than 10% of all oceans have been explored. What secrets still lie undiscovered?
