Emblazoned across the sky,
Are my memories of past
Twirling
Swirling
In a burst of color and light
Mesmerizing my mind
To see my own
Personal
Past
Faces flash by
Bringing a smile
For the memories
Never to be forgotten
In the swirl of darkness
In the sky I see it
A collage of who I am
Ripped in places
Gold in others
I can’t say I’ve mastered life
But my collage
Is my soul’s masterpiece
Imperfect
Emblazoned across the sky
Is my life of past
Exciting
Inviting
To go back
But behind the sky
I reach up, to create my own
Personal
Future

Awesome
This poem is amazing! I can't eveen begin to describe it. I loved the part where you said that your collage is ripped in some places and gold in others and I really like the ending too. I love this poem so much I can't even describe it! -
This is really great. I love this poem.
"Emblazoned across the sky,
Are my memories of past
Twirling
Swirling
In a burst of color and light"

wow, a lot of this was so strong! the first line "emblazoned across the sky" is very powerful and visual and it really set the scene for the rest of the poem. i get a feeling of temporary memories not just by the content but also by the structure of you poem, short choppy lines and small stanzas. i also love "a collage of who i am/ripped in places/gold in others/i can't say i've mastered life..." just beautiful. great job!
