This time my heart will not mend
Its broken beyond repair
The saddest thing, is it’s your fault
But you don’t even care
Im not superhuman
And time does not heal wounds like these
So I’ll thank you not, for hurting me so
Just leave me alone, if you please
I’ll sit here as I always do
And laugh with all my friends
Secretly harboring a hurt so deep
That I know it will never mend
In my broken state
I see things that I didn’t see before
I have realized, though I am not whole
It does not matter anymore
The pieces of my broken heart
Can now feel so much more
Then the simple hurt you put me through
When you walked out that door
Ive been given a different perspective
Then the one I had before
Like a piece of a broken mirror
Glinting, from the floor
So this time I choose not to mend
I do not want to heal
Im quite happy with who I am
Knowing that now, I can TRULY feel.

wow, this is an amazing poem!
"The pieces of my broken heart
Can now feel so much more
Then the simple hurt you put me through
When you walked out that door"
