It's been a blast;
not from your perspective
but from mine.
The tears that were shed
were the drainage from
overfilled base barrels.
No reflection on us
just past dispensational issues.
I am not so into you.
I am more into the internal
drama taking place
within my own person.
But, you played your part
in part, with me
but not to get it twisted:
Our dance was elegant,
smooth, flexible, entertaining,
but, now, is over, done, dead.
Time to switch partners,
songs, platforms, stages;
flip attitudes, and pages.
Time to dance to the beat
of another caravan's parade
going in another direction.
Time to part; not as enemies
not as friends, or lovers
just as people pass pretendings.
When the clock strikes twelve,
curtsy, bow, and take your leave,
as I do the self/same.

I really liked this piece, it reminded me a lot of the song "Land Locked Blues", I don't know if you've heard of it, but I suppose that's kinda off topic. Your words flow very well, and your message has some really great emotions in it. Thanks for the entry!
