Do You Remember?

Do you remember the way you used to laugh for me?
The faces you made full of freckles and beauty.
The smile to light my darkness.
The warmth to tame my soul.

Do you remember the way you would walk with me?
Hips swinging in time to the music of life.
Long, lucious legs entrapping the stares of all.
Steps bouncing with your joy.

Do you remember the way you said my name?
Your voice a siren to call to me.
Your command to bring my animal.
Your beauty for all to hear.

I remember.

I remember your face, your laugh, your smile.
I remember your kisses, your touch, your heart.

I remember.

I dream of you. Did you know that?

I dream of your fire.
Flowing and dancing through my hands.
I dream of your eyes.
Mesmerising and speckled with gold.
I dream of your kiss.
Your lips so soft, so tender, so sweet.

I dream of you.

Did you think I forgot, my dear?
My love, my life, my blood.
Do you think I wouldn't come back to you?
You pushed so I went.
I waited.
I heard nothing.
But I.

I will never forget you.
I will never leave you.
I will always remember.

Do you?
