The memory of you;;
Reminds me of the cool
Taste of steel in my mouth
From the bike pump attachment.
You know, the one I would
Clench between my teeth as we rode our bikes
Far away from home?
Your memory reminds me of;;
The scent of pine trees and
Ocean salt as we
Sat on the rocks and huddled
Together for warmth.
I still feel your burning hands
Cradle
My cold fingers, letting the
Tingling spread from my fingertips
Allthewaytomychest.
[You have no idea how much I miss you.]
Your memory reminds me of;;
Running as far as possible
Until the breath seemed to catch
In our throats.
And when our bodies would finally
Slow and our heartbeats
Regulated,
Our lips would meet and [yet again]
Our hearts would race.
Do you remember?
Do you remember last summer when we would
Sprint away late at night
To find our very own Terabithia?
But did we really care what we found?
Because I remember how our
Pacing legs seemed to just... stop.
And we never found our beautiful
Terabithia, but we still found so many
Lovely places to
Explore. (each other)
That summer we spent
Drinking [Sunkist] and wiping
Away the water dripping from our [forehead.]
We (ran miles and miles) together,
Slipping into a monotonous habit,
Even though every day seemed to be a “record high.”
But our feet still stepped one in
Front
Of
The
Other
As our hearts propelled us towards
A safe haven.
[Where we could pretend it was only
Just.You.And.Me.]
[You have no idea how much I need you.]
You promised me it wasn’t just a
Summer fling, a
Wannabe-romance.
“It’s real.”
I knew at that point that
Our fingers laced together
Didn’t just mean lust.
The thudding that I found occurring
In my chest was there for a reason;
And I guess you could call it
[Love.]
The picture of you on my bedside table
Reminds me of
The smell of fresh cut grass;
The crunch of gravel beneath our feet as we ran;
The shine your eyes had in the moonlight;
The aching in my muscles being soothed away by your touch;
The pounding forcing my ribcage to move when you touched my cheek;
It was all so beautiful to me.
And after all the leaves fall off the trees,
And grow back,
After the snow falls
And melts away,
After my heart freezes
And thaws again,
I’ll see you and we’ll repeat last summer
Just the same, because
[You promised it was love.]

Totally inspired by this weekend.
Droid and chelsey, no it SOO isn't who you're thinking of. haha. I was thinking more about what it would be like to find an amazing lover. Summer fling turned serious.
But I wanna go back to north haven already. :\

Sooo beautiful

JADE* -
Very powerful up to this point:
"[You have no idea how much I need you.]". Your ending needs a bit of re-working, as it becomes little bit cliche after the abovementioned line. -
SARAH YOU WON!
