Dark and Heavy Skies

The sky so dark and heavy
Reflections of my life
The turmoil, swirling clouds
Echoes of endless strife

But the rain so kind and gentle
Tapping softly in the ground
Like the love that softly touches
Those that love you all around

Without the heavy clouds
There wouldn't be the rain
Without the turmoil sometimes
Our lives would always be the same

The weather is what challenges
Nature to change and grow
The weather in our life
Makes us understand and know

There are things that need to grow
And things that need to change
The swirling shifting clouds
Of our life that rearrange

And where are we at the end
When the storms have blown and past
We sit here and we wonder
How the storms blew by so fast

In a list

Sometimes turmoil can make life fun as we're on the rollarcoaster ride. I guess sometimes it would be boring without them.
Tho, I love it when the rain comes.
    Very nice poem.
