My Lovely Hole

in a chair across the table, there sat time itself
picking at my head and a cup of tea
"1 spoonful of sugar will suffice"
and the dream sets in like a spider bite
what new drink is offerred? what bread shall sustain the world?
are you here to unlock the door or burry it from my eye?
caged, the animal roars louder, the chain is wearing
but no one listens until he is killing
blood is the price of a borrowed ear
spill then, spill until all is lost
the best road to foreign lands
all tongue's grow tiresome and new ones must be explored
all the while a clock sits across the table
sipping on tea on this the eve, it is almost my stop
familiarly, he extends a hand to carry me into another round
we've never gone so far

I love the imagery in this, very Alice in Wonderland, twisted fairytale type thing. Exactly my cup of tea. ^.^
And I like that everything isn't right on the surface, you have to go digging a bit. I'm going to be pondering it for a while, I think.
Thanks for entering, and good luck.

    Bandits unseen

Surely it is of a mind wandering lost in the cathedrals of humanity, looking for what is holy yet the darkness is all you see.

Try as hard as you may, opressive time is as you wonder where the very road life lays down for your really leads.

Let not moments of lucidity slip you by for few they are in this not so new sacrifice we call life.

I like it, I like it so!
