Worn into paving stones,
path; skin, and morals
become victim.
Whilst the other observes; still.

Prayers for white cloth
and cloud between
meeting skins
remind each finger of
similarities not strong enough
to bind the polls.

Yet, the maimed endure
and the sinless wait.

    Your words have a simplicity to them that causes the reader to have to read several more times in order to understand the depth of the words spoken for the picture you were given. That is truly a good poet in every right.

    I really like how you wove your words around this image and enveloped it in your own voice. Wonderful.
