Effervescent Explosions

Rolling, rotund, rubenesque
    bouncing, balls of bland air.
Standing, smiling serenely,
    stopping to silently stare.

Fragile, free-floating froth
    airly ascends above as a moth.
Innocently isolated illusions;
    capricious; careen in collusion.

Polished pearlescent propulsion;
    effervescence ends in explosion.

    Now this is alliteration pulled off superbly, with natural rhyme. Fantastic language use in this one, good write.

    This was alliteration in triad heaven! loved your descriptions so natural and luxurious with language! each word was perfectly placed. The descriptions were fantastic the end was explosive XD and the bit I picked out for me was the best part of the poem. the fricative language and the description and similarity to a moth was genius. well done loved this poem.

    Excellent

    Heavens to Betsy, all of those $.75 words (lol), I don't know quite what to say except that it brought a smile to my face. Imagery, rhythm and rhyme were just fine.

    I don't know why, but for some reason, I think of a really great cappuccino. It's energetic, satisfying, and it completely brightens your day. This is what your writing does. It's such a good caffeine high.

      Thanks for reading and commenting. The alliteration makes it almost too much, but.... it is all in fun.
