Don't Disappear

Transparent
Rainbow reflection
My likeness is skewed
Large nose and stretched eyes
Things that made me laugh in my youth
A delicate little memory, like summer in a day
Of when all you had to really worry about
Was which game you wanted to play
Those days are long gone now
Like the bubbles I blew
But I can always
Blow a few

Author notes

Totally off the top of my head, didn't even think about it that much.

That is so cool! I love the way it bulges out and comes back together.

WOW! that was a mindblowing poem. a great shape aswell It was visually appealing before I even read it! your continued similie and imagery was absolutely spot on!

I like your uniqe take on my prompt where the bubble reflects your life.
    'Transparent
    Rainbow reflection'
and the things you did. best lines for me

'Those days are long gone now
    Like the bubbles I blew
    But I can always
    Blow a few
    More'

This was tragic and beautiful all at the same time. very nostaligic. I loved the personal response which is what poetry is all about its symbolic of your life and I think it was fantastic.
    well done.
