I lost her
in a different universe
I can go anywhere,
but never there
I have played
with the sands of time
I can manipulate
everything but her
I am as old
as the worlds that I visit
She was as young
as a just-unfurled flower
And yet for some reason
despite all my reason
Though everything dies
but me
I know
I'll remember
Though bonds
may be severed
I'll remember
her
For all of the 'forever'
I'll see.
