From the beggining you taught me,
To listen to my heart and mind.
When times distraught me,
You were always by my side.
A strong force that held,
Against the stormy times.
I cannot begin to thank you,
For all the love you held.
Even in our times of woe,
When neither side could speak out.
You would always come forth,
Happy as if nothing ever happened.
My dearest father,
Without I could not be brave.
To go forth in my own life,
Being strong and independant.
Father,
I know your fears well.
Please know that I will come,
Should I ever need your help.
I will never forget,
The times you were there.
