Not A Love Poem

What great light,
Did find the solidness to mold her,
And chizzle out such vivid beauty?

Did prayers seep into her eyes,
To make them so forlornly enticing?

Splendid fates, did gift you to us all,
And rightly so, with our potential to love you, well...

Though we have hurt you,
You love us unconditionally,
For there are those of us who would,
and never will hurt you...

No matter how you are scarred,
The beauty which is left to you,
And always returns,
Is astonishing.

Mother earth,
What grace, and lustful temptation
Do you wield over me...

How fortunate I am to live,
Held in your capable arms.

  • I am not receiving enough poems to judge this contest.
I would keep extending the deadline, but I'm so busy with life in general these days that it's difficult to manage this. I feel I should withdraw all poems and delete this contest. I save my points for a better contest when I have more time to play judgess.
    I hope you understand
    Thank you,

  • Ooh...

I like the twist, from the praise of a mortal to the thankfulness towards the earth.
    Thank you for entering =]
