Daddy's Little Girl

It's "Father's Day" again,
Kinda another birthday of sorts.
But nonetheless I'll still love you,
Wither your hair is long or short.

Sometimes you scare me,
With you workaholic personality.
I feel you will exhaust,

Your own mortality.

But this is who you are,

and who you will always be.

You've never let any one break your spirit,

You will continue to roam free.

Through gain and loss,

You've been there to hold my hand.

You've helped make me the person I am today,

So that I may live this life and understand.

And on this day,

I make you another pinkie swear.

That I will always Cherish you,

And love you beyond compare.

And I'll remind you,

Like I am reminded everyday,

As I pick up my keys to go on with the day.

I drive off into this world knowing,
