We sit in wait,
wondering what the world will deliver.
Is it really worth it to hate?
Ongoing questions that give us a shiver.
Haunting memories of an unmissed past,
never wanting to look back at what was there.
Like a dark spell ready to be cast,
we'll sit and rot in dispair.
Sounds that chill our soul,
and the love that warms our bones.
Our eyes black as coal,
voices like painful moans.
We look into the dark,
waiting for the light.
All it takes is a simple spark,
to set fire to this dreadful fright.
So to all of those loathing and waiting,
I say to you now there is no debating.
This pain is real that we're creating,
there's no more use in all this hating.
