Raindrops bounce
upon my window pane,
and they take me away
into the pouring rain
Thoughts wrapped in mood
so hard to describe,
but that could change in a second
it depends on the vibe
Drift away dreamer
far beyond the glass,
to a place where you are laughing
and the sadness shall pass
Feeling kind of funky
is a natural event,
it’s not a perfect world
it’s impossible to prevent
Knowing one emotion
shall free all the rest,
it takes one to feel the other
bring forward all your best
Lace and bows on flowers
sets the mind in reel,
as one moment is forgotten
and becomes the new deal

thank you entering my contest. I enjoyed the message to your poem. Feeling sad is unavoidable but it makes the happy that much better. I really have the same opinion i think things occur for a reason and every person needs a little cry. My favourite lines were "Drift away dreamer/far beyond the glass". Looking at everything in a big picture is always important to help you put things into perspective. Excellent write and good luck
