Like the ripples of water
And the winds of a hurricane
She spread her soul into the very earth.
Once she walked upon
The clouds, the mountains, the oceans
But no longer.
Billowing hair melting into rivers
Sweet breath becoming the wind
Long limbs sprouting into trees
A beating heart pulsing as sun and moon
Watchful eyes guarding the peace
She gave her life to the bare rocks
Then by mistake, one crimson drop
Fell
Upon the new land.
A human rose from the cursed red
The sky was veiled with blue
Heavens were clouded from our hearts
Earth's soul disappeared.
