In my time induced exile,
I am aware of my heart beat,
my breath shallowly feeding
my life force… but the sands
flow too freely, cascading in
shades of memory, doubt, fear…
In the darkness, glimmers of pure white.
I lay watching, a sense of
anticipation stirring my thoughts.
Like a fan unfolding, I am aware
of the expanding brightness…
streamers of white with stars
captured within the flowing
beauty… Bird like in vision,
it beckons me to take flight
and join in the beauty and
mystery of the darkness.
It is a welcoming, a hint of things
to come…
I release my hold with a final
exhale… slowing, slowing, stop…
and soar to find
the promises seen.
I am aware of my heart beat,
my breath shallowly feeding
my life force… but the sands
flow too freely, cascading in
shades of memory, doubt, fear…

What awaits at the end of time? Perhaps such a vision...

Ah, beautiful!! (Amazingly creative take on the prompt). Must we really wait until the end of time for such promises to unfold though, or can we find them here?
