Simple words of wit embrace
The blackness of the couldron
And I within my circle traced
Pay heed to Whom I've called on
Rat race subdued by candlelight
Time holds no sway here
Lost reflection beneath moonlight
Released from pain and fear
Flickering flame of sacred light
Dances past closed eyes
Leading Soul on sacred flight
On paths to wisdom's prize
The wind soft brushes 'gainst my cheek
And flutters my repose
Tree frog sings a song so sweet
Which only tree frog knows
My blade in hand, I offer up
Incense and herbs and cake
Red sweet wine half fills my cup
These off'rings now I make
And merry meet, my pagan friend
And merry may we part
Until we merry meet again
Our bond will warm my heart
And now the circle drawn, be open
God, Goddess, you, and me
Never shall these bonds be broken
I speak, so mote it be
