Were I a peahen,
He'd capture my attention.
I need no
Flashy iridescence.
The subtle beauty
Of feather-strands
And snowflake-sprinklings
Suffices for me.
Some Elizabethan nobleman
Might pay court in such finery,
Bowing low to kiss
My hand.
Author notes
I love albino peacocks.

I like the courtier take you gave the prompt. The flashy iridescence of others not needed, preferring stands of snowflake sprinkles. I like your move from observation to preference to extended image.
Thank you for your courtly entry.
