Which One?!

Missing image
Free to good home so just what does that mean
are they both house trained to keep everything clean?
decisions, decisions which one should I choose
this dilemma has certainly sharpened my muse.

The beautiful tabby seems to have captured my heart
and the husband is secondhand so maybe not smart
tabby chews up the slippers, husband brings in dirt on his shoes
what am I to do, I have this case of the blues!

Affectionate tabby is playful with kids
but husband hates cats which puts him on the skids
so it's off to the home to give cat the good news
please tell secondhand husband I'll just have to refuse?

Form Used - Kyrielle

A Kyrielle is a French form of rhyming poetry written in quatrains (a stanza consisting of 4 lines),
and each quatrain contains a repeating line or phrase as a refrain (usually appearing as the last
line of each stanza). Each line within the poem consists of only eight syllables. There is no limit
to the amount of stanzas a Kyrielle may have, but three is considered the accepted minimum.

Some popular rhyming schemes for a Kyrielle are: aabB, ccbB, ddbB, with B being the repeated
line, or abaB, cbcB, dbdB.

Mixing up the rhyme scheme is possible for an unusual pattern of: axaZ, bxbZ, cxcZ, dxdZ, etc.

with Z being the repeated line.

The rhyme pattern is completely up to the poet.

RHYME SCHEME USED - aabB, ccbB, ddbB.

    Great!

That is a wonderful perk and incentive to be a paying member since can post the picture. I LOVE this picture. REALLY complements your piece you wrote VERY well.

The man in this house is house trained. One day when I was feeling like a janitor lifting up seat to squirt in Lysol it occurred to me... He has to lift lid up every time he takes a whiz. (Ewwwwww) So just once in awhile not nearly as ewwwwwwww.

BTW: Anthony, an Apache Native American I know, burns incense to eliminate Ode de' cat box scents. Works remarkably well so I did. LOL
