We have but one world
there is no other,
all of mankind
is your sister and brother
Peace comes from the heart
that is willing to give,
no one should have to starve
we all have the right to live
Unity the perfect answer
that so many do not hear,
for loss of personal gain
too blind to see clear
Those that walk through crowds
of all the hunger and pain,
wearing an umbrella of life
shedding it all like rain
Love is the peace
the earth searches for,
let’s stop talking about it
and open up that door
Power of the people
limited to cries so in vain,
where is the resolution
for all this unnecessary pain

Beautiful. Bravo! Bravo! A most beautiful take on a most beautiful prompt. The rhyme scheme is incredible--so incredible that you could turn this into a song. The second verse is my favorite but it is all great.
Sorry I have to crit a bit, but: "to [too] blind to see clear."
Other than that, it's awesome. I wish you all the best.
