From the day I first saw you
I knew I wanted you in my life
I didn't know how
As a person, a friend, or even a wife
I kept trying to talk to you
but all I would get was an awwww or a thanks
I thought to myself ........
Shit my life really stinks
I read all about you everyday
I watched the changes in your life
I watch through your happiness
to how life lead you astray
I watched how life took your bed of roses
And filled you with so much pain
Then one day you came around and talked to me
My life filled with eternal satisfaction
I sat on cloud nine
so much joy  so much glee
I knew you were someone special
Someone perfect to bring this pleasure to me
I wondered how I could repay you
But payment could never be complete.
Some time went by and I told you

Not just as a friend
But together I need you my lady
to you I would never be shady
Now we are together happily
Because you said yes to me
and you know that I'm the man you always needed.
A little more time went by
then I said Candiss I'm in love
I know you are the one
that heaven sent from above.
So I got down on one knee and started to pleed
I said my life belongs to you if you will just marry me
I might not be the best man you can get
but ill treat you like gold
I will love you forever and together we'll grow old
Then I pulled out the ring
you hesitated instantly
I thought you were gonna say no
as a tear fell out my eye
then you start to cry cuz you could feel my love deep inside
then unexpectedly,....
you jump up and said yes to me
then tears came out your eyes
like little rays of sunshine.
Then a lil more time went by
we're getting married on this day.
In front of the alter,
and our families,
with a pastor,
he says say your vows
I reach in my pocket and pull a letter
AND stopped everything.
I say people let me explain

before we exchange these rings.

I just up out the bed

I made you some breakfast and ran to the bathroom
To draw your hot bath
then to the breakfast to the bed
You woke up to the scent of the flower
that I put under your nose.
You ate your breakfast as I
rubbed your feet painted your nails and brushed your hair
Then you sat up to give me a kiss
and you disappeared
Then I started to wake up
I realized it was all a dream
I started to cry now
My pillow is full of tears
Because I will never have
this other half of me.
Then I call you on the phone
Just to hear your sweet voice.
To make sure you had a good day
That you weren't sad
You didn't need me to make you happy.
You have a man now.
He makes you happy now.
Just as much as I do.
You don't need me anymore so there is nothing left for me to do.
We are only friends now.
Because I am awake
Yet always and forever I will still love you....
