inside me is the sea
and he is the wind, blowing seeds
deep into my womb.
it all began with wading
he’d dangle his toes and whisper
soft thoughts into shells,
love letters buried
into the thick sand of my mind.
and now i can feel you moving
a jellyfish ballet,
you tell me goodnight
and when i awaken
i sing into the vast ocean,
seeking my child’s face.

I thought that was sexy. This captures the passion of summer. Fantastic.
