Hopes Rainbow

Rainbow tears fall
quietly upon the landscape
of a heart left barren.

Shallow tears encapsulate
the hurt and pain left
lying in wake  

almost, as an
after thought.

The colors intermix with
the pain. Brilliant shimmers
awash against a cheek all
too familiar with the
course.

Reds, blues, yellows
and greens. Time passes
as the rivers flow until
the steady stream of tears
has become only the colors
of hopes rainbow.

I chose option 2 it really spoke to me.
