The firs time I met you the light was turned on
and a love grew the firs time the light went off.
Oh you were a good girl and hesitant to say yes
But deep within your heart you could not say no
I could hear within your voice the sound of please
and deeper still in our lovemaking the word “Stay.”
New love always desires for two to stay
Someone in which they can hold on.
I have never been an easy one to please
and fearful I would say something to chase you off.
as rejection resounds in the word “ No.”
But here we are with an awesome “Yes!”
When I felt the first kiss my heart said ‘Yes!’
I would not tell you how I longed to stay
that very night with you forever though you did not know.
You had no clue that you were such a turn on
and there was no way I was going to run you off
I was the one love that was begging pretty please.
Pretty please pretty please love me pretty lease!
You may have teased me no, but your body said yes.
Loved me passionately till exhausted we faded off
to sleep comforted that the other would stay.
I knew this was a love I could place dreams upon
Nothing within my soul could say no.
With the magic of touch who could say no?
You became the one I loved to please.
We were young and beautiful and we pressed on.
Asking for your hand you quickly said “Yes.”
I know sometimes it has been hard to stay
and at times it seems that light of love has turned off.
Love can turn on what has been turned off
and when I think of others I hear the word “No.“
With you my heart is happy to stay.
You are the one that I love to please
and when it comes to loving you I can only hear “Yes.”
Though but a flicker the light stays on.
When the lights are off you are the one I please
I cannot say no and you are my sweetest yes
My heart is on fire it is a fire that will stay
