Holes In Walls

confusion?
could it ever stop with you?
the tides crash against me
silver, blue

and I'm lost in this music
this vastness
this destruction
and I am lost in you
in your faith
in your corruption

holes
in walls
and in my logic

until all their songs
become
    symbolic.

This poem, while I'm sure you put a lot of emotion into it, reads as if the person behind it was not emotionally connected to what they were saying at all. A lot of parts are a bit cliche, like "lost in the music." Thanks for entering.
