A storm rolls in.
Illuminated clouds cast shadows
Across the face of a frightened girl.
Wind blows very feintly.
There is no rain.
No hail.
No rain.
No wind.
Just quiet.
The bright illumination of the silent lightning,
reflects in the child's eyes.
A dark and bright sky
is silent.
In the wind.
And in the rain.
And in thunder.
And the young frightened girl is silent too,
Standing in the semi-dark,
with tears and lightning in her eyes.

What an intense picture the words paint. Quite a visualization. It captures not only a physical but an emotional moment in time, much like a photo.
Thanks for your entry.
