whips and bucks
snapping pearl tendrils
into crystal tears
Eruption from depths
trails fault line
to bury burning green
Absorption hastens
upon roots
Lesson born
Author notes
Your Prompt:'If You Could Ride The Wind, Breath The Fire, and Drink The Earth'
Ok-so no one out there is getting this...Ride the Wind is the first stanza, a storm, a battle inside yourself, making you shake and cry....Breath the Fire is the burning inside that boils to the point of the tears that fall over your cheeks....and Drink the Earth is in the soaking up the tears in the very ground you stand upon...Lesson born is envy or jealousy that needs to be overcome. Does this make sense now. I didn't take the prompt literal, I took it metaphorically. I hope this helps!
