His existence was just like a pebble
Worn by the sands of time;
Delighted to work with family or friends
In every kind of line.
Returning the favours collected,
Conjuring up a response;
Removing all of the debts he incurred,
Paying them all, at least once.
His departure should not be a sad time,
His friendship was given, you see.
I'll grieve for the loss of a mate,
Then let his spirit go free.
It comes to all of us at some time

Over a very short period of time I lost several friends, I guess that at my age time is shorter than when I was an everlasting 18 year old. Thank you for your response to my poem
Cheers and best wishes.
Bob.
