[Verse 1]
Censored shades of red
Pollute the fine text
And all the space in between.
Dance with me around the fire
Let us laugh until the morning.
[Chorus]
Why be bothered by foolish tears?
Just let the flames consume
All our fears.
The pages of our lives,
Like blackened butterflies,
We're burning,
Burning bright.
[Verse 2]
Moonlight casts shadows
Over cold hearths
And charred memories
With the edges blurred away.
Take a match to the kerosene
And ignite these ruins
With intoxicated tomorrows.
[Chorus]
[Verse 3/Outro]
Until the morning comes
We'll dance with eyes ablaze.
My love,
Dance with me.
Drink and laugh with me.
And if I don't speak,
What is there to say?
Author notes
We're burning, burning bright.
These papers catch light
At four hundred and fifty one
Degrees Fahrenheit.
Please tell me what you think

A good take on what if tomorrow never comes. I would ask style or substance of melody. some of the flow seems odd.

Thank you. ^^
And yes, some of the flow is kinda off. I don't have an actual melody yet, I just wrote down what came to mind. Chances are it will get edited quite a bit if/when I put notes to it.
