I think I'm dying, I can't hold on...
Smile it's okay, here comes the sun.
But my brain, it's slowly dying,
Smile it's okay, imagine flying.
But the tumor, it's getting bigger,
Smile it's okay, I'll be your tigger.
I want to be remembered for who I am,
Smile it's okay, I'll do what I can.
You meant the world, you know that right,
Smile it's okay, you are going to be alright.
Thanks for being here when I'm on my own,
Smile it's okay, didn't want you all alone.
I'm tired, I'm going to close my eyes.
Just keep smiling, as she starts to cry.

I'm not going to bother you about petty things like grammar at a time like this. I will only say that this poem almost made me cry... it's beautiful how much the person saying "Smile" in the poem cares about her dying friend, and wants him to be happy even at the end.
I'm praying for your friend's health, and for you...

I definitely think you did a better job with this. It's filled with so much emotion... I also have a friend who has brain tumors and over the past couple of years the doctors have sometimes announced that she has cancer only to change their minds; it's really awful how much it controls her life even when she tries not to let it. This poem really is beautiful.. Your friend is lucky to have your support.

Oh... this is a beautiful but dreadfully sad poem, as are the circumstances that caused it.
I am so sorry about this awful scenario, I only hope your friend can overcome it.
Again, lovely piece. -
a good piece that has a positive aspect even though the sadness is evident here with your friend's illness, i hope all is well with your friend in the long run. good luck in the contest.
