A single red rose
He left for me
As I smell it and smile
Taking it apart playing the game
He loves me, he loves me not
As I pulled off the last petal
To say he loves me
I noticed a note on my bed
I almost missed the words he said
Here is a rose just for you
To prove my love for you is true
Take this rose and keep it close to your heart
Always remember I love you when ever we are apart
I took the note and wiped away my tears
Thank you for all the wonderful years
This single red rose you left for me
I will remember for eternity

Touching, I thought that game is played with Margaritas
Still they only come in spring.
Thank you.

Actually you can play it with anything. For example turning the stem of an apple. Saying "he loves me he loves me not" until the stem falls off. Thanks for the comment.
