Tantalizing in their warmth and passion,
kisses in the wind dance upon my cheeks.
With whispers of sincerity, they flow,
electrifying air with their nearing.
Expectancy heightening the moment,
quickening heartbeats stutter in their glee,
Silencing birds with their sweet harmony,
shimmering eyes sing the most joyous song.
Quivering as passion brushes my way,
I embrace life's offerings as a gift
and hold it as one would a butterfly,
with carresses tender and quite sincere.
Believing the wind's direction will stay,
I inhale aromas God delights in
and hold their healing power in these lungs,
trusting the comfort that now holds my hands.
