Mystic affection
manifests uncertain sanctuary.
Rhythms of continuous devotion
remain unknown.
Such a puzzling pulse
screams only in silence --
deafened thuds --
eternally forbidden heeds
of enigmatic comfort.
An absent security
leaves me surprisingly
relaxed.

letting go and not worrying in the face of such an alien experience - what ever it may be.

Well, I think it's amazing.... and I feel like I really "get it". Its something I feel is so true....but so hard...then in the end- once its over or gone....you're better off. Wow. This is moving, and timed perfectly for me. Great write, poet, great write!

a nice bit of free-verse. if this si your first in this style then that's awesome adn you should do more. just a thing, somtimes how you ran sentences over two lines it felt too...deliberate. as if you thought "this si free-verse, thus i must break up my lines". just a thing. but all in all a nice, short piece.
