The Note

My life is not full of pain
My life is not a burden to exist in
My life is not littered with broken dreams
My life is not full of rejection
My life is not hurtful pride
My life is not destruction of hope
My life is not shattered
My life is not shame
My life is not horrific
My life is not this suicide note.

This is not my life.

Author notes

Concept piece. Had a thought about the 'perfect' suicide note. The first idea was to have a feel good one. My life is wonderful and joyful hurrah! but it simply didn't play well, came across sarcastic or funny.

Than I got the idea for the double negative. My life isn't bad (saying it's good)... but than, as the kicker, "to bad this isn't my life"... And Voila! this was born.

    I LIKED IT. I UNDERSTOOD IT TO BE SOMEONE WISHING THAT THIS IS WHAT THEIR LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN.

    I liked it.
    Twisted but good.
    Would be weird if someone actually left this as a suicide note, beings that they loved there life so much.. hehe..
    And just a suggestion, what if ya made the title : My life"? Well i just got to thinking about that it wouldn't make sense would it.. lol
