The days are shorter
Now that I've found out
My end is near
there is no doubt
The doctor said you may be saved
Though it may only delay...
The inevitable disclosure
To your loved ones
The ones who'll cry
and miss you when you're gone
I don't begrudge this ending
of the journey so great
per God's will it is my fate
