The lights go out
And all is silent
But the snoring of my parents
As I daydream of David Bowie
Dresses as Jareth the Goblin King
In 'Labyrinth',
Bringing to my attention
That Jim Henson died a while back,
But his legacy lives on in his movies.
Then I imagine George Lucas,
Executive producer of 'Labyrinth'
And creator of 'Star Wars'
And I think of how Obi Wan
Should've gone ahead and killed
Vader instead of dicing him to bits
Just to be put back together
To fight his son Luke
Who's really a sissy boy
And no one special
Who called to old Daddy-O
At last minute to go ahead
And destroy the Sith
For good.
What's really sick is how
Luke had the hots for his sister
Before he knew she was his sister.
I wonder what he was thinking
When he realized THAT little detail.
And now my nose is running
And I must seek out a tissue
Other than this old shirt I'm wearing
That says I WORK OUT OFTEN
BUT I DON'T EXERCISE PATIENCE.
Now that I've officially blown my nose,
I wonder if the lights will ever
Come back on or if my Nannie's dog
Will ever go back home.
But for now...
The lights are out

Dressed as Jack Sparrow
In 'Pirates of the Carribean'.

So many references! I remember when the school made us watch Labyrinth... Everyone just looked at eachother in disbelief lol. And then the rant about Star Wars' incestual plot!? This has to earn the title of...

Well, Labyrinth just so happens to be my favorite move EVER and it just suddenly occured to me one day how Luke had liked his sister and couldn't help but write it down. It was quite hilarious LOL!
