The calm before the storm
Is but the angels silent screams
The yells and shouts of warning
From the figments of our beliefs
The clap of thunder crashes through the air
As the lightning rips the sky
These are the demon shouts and yells
Attempts to drown out angel’s cries
The tears of the weeping heavens
Combines with the rage of demons
And the wails of sorrowed angels
Fill all mortal ears
You can see the demons hate and anger
As it twists the very air
The screams and cries of the angels
Carried on every wind
The wind is now destruction
Twisting, churning chaos
Surrounded by heavens tears
As the angels weep and scream
And in the middle of this chaos,
Of this pain and destruction,
There children’s laughter is heard
Angels sleep peaceful, and the smile of a demon is found
Amid the death, and the sorrow
A place of joy is found
Amid the storm one question calls
Is the one place of pure joy…
Is this single moment of the storm…
This one moment of happiness…
Is it truly worth all that surrounds it.
