The leaf that fell must be a sign
That angels took you home
Through a path where once we walked
And made up funny songs.
The gentle sound of rain would fall
Upon the trees that stood
While we strolled with happy feet
Within the castle wood.
A smell of flowers , your perfume
The wind, your breath of love
The birds, a choir of cheerful words
What good times are made of.
From now on it is in a dream
Where we can walk the bend
Until the Lord will come and bring
Us Forever, together again.

This is touching and beautiful. Your words are so soft and gentle. Your images so vivid and the emotions you evoke bring the reader close to tears. Excellent. What a refreshing write. You always make my day with your work -- it is a bit of sunshine between the clouds.

Beautifu!
A lovely pen! it could be about so many people I've known and lost, like the prose in a sympathy card I'd like to send to a dear one's relatives.

Dianne you can capture any moment and capture those images that really matter. The thing that caught my eye, mind, and spirit was, 'made up funny songs'. What else is there other than those funny songs. These are the handles that we hold onto with any human being we come in contact with. So many people, so many places all forgetable. Those we made up funny songs with are never to be fogotten. What a fine tribute. What a way to say it. RC
