Starlite confessions

 

 

Twinkle, twinkle little star..
I’ve always marveled at how bright you are
Sometimes when I look up at night
You seem to have disappeared from sight

Twinkle, twinkle little star..
I feel your magic from afar
When I tried, and tried with all my might..
To channel your powers, my mind took flight..

 

Twinkle, twinkle little star,

I hear your wisdom speak to my thirsty heart.

Is it faith or trust that holds you tight,

In unspoken skies of splendors twilight.

 

Twinkle, twinkle little star,

thank you for teaching me tonight,

to reach out listening with vivid power and bold might,

quietly seeking heaven’s voice.....

 

humbly beaming rays of dusted starlite,

upon my tender of  confessions,

    I read this yesterday..but I didn't get a chance to comment on it..you guys both did wonderful job..I really enjoyed the innocence feel to it..great collaboration ..nice blending and smoothness between both your styles..the reader can not really tell who wrote what..keep them coming..nice sensual pic..and the background is stunning.

    I absolutely love this piece! It is so whimsical and beautiful. The vocab is excellent and imagery is amazing! The repetition definately adds a mysterious, yet childlike innocence to this poem. Well done indeed!
